Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) has been organizing conventions/conferences/seminars for more than three decades at National/International level. During this period the Society has undergone profound changes and has finally grown to take up the challenge oforganizing an annual event such as ICORE-2023 (International Congresson Renewable Energy) thus establishing India at par with developed nations hosting international events on a regular basis. ICORE-2023 covers all aspects of new and renewable energy and will focus on Solar Energy in particular thus providing an excellent platform for renewable energy researchers, academics, policy makers and industrialists in Indiaas well as abroad. This year the ICORE 2023 is proposed to be held at AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra, INDIA.
ABOUT THE HOST INSTITUTE
The All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) was established in 1917 by Late H H Shrimant Shri Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj of Kolhapur to promote the noble cause of education. The AISSMS COE,Pune is a co-education Institute established in 1992. The College of Engineering is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune. AISSMS COE conducts AICTE approved courses leading to thedegree of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in eight engineering streams and Master of Engineering (ME) in seven Engineering streams and Four PhD program. AISSMSCOE is Accredited by “A+” Grade by NAAC and awarded as “Best Engineering College” in Urban region in 2019-20 by SPPU Pune.

Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), established in 1976 with its Secretariat in New Delhi, is the Indian Section of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES). SESI is a multi-faceted national membership organization. With its long history and extensive technical and scientific expertise provided by its members, the Society is a modern, future oriented Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). SESI has been serving the needs of the Renewable Energy community and the Society supportsitsmembersintheadvancementofRenewableEnergyTechnological, Implementation and Education.
The objectives of SESI are to Advance, Promote and Propagate the use of Renewable Energy by Encouraging Basic and Applied Research in Renewable Energy.
